Your first visit,
start to finish.

No mystery, no surprises. Here is exactly what happens, what to do beforehand, and how to keep your skin happy afterwards.

On the day

How the appointment goes.

You arrive

Come to Suite 4 on the lower level. It's one room, one client, so you won't be sitting in a waiting area with anyone else.

We talk first

What you're booked for, whether you want wax or sugar, anything I should know about your skin. Tell me it's your first time. It changes how I pace it.

The wax itself

I say what I'm doing before I do it. A Brazilian is booked at 25 minutes, and most of that is prep, positioning and finishing, not the part you're worried about.

Before you come

Four things that make
a real difference.

None of this is complicated, and none of it is a dealbreaker. Do what you can.

These are general waxing guidelines, not studio rules. If something here isn't possible, still come. We'll work with what we've got.

Let it grow to about ¼ inch

Roughly a grain of rice, or two to three weeks. Shorter than that and there's nothing for the wax to grip.

Exfoliate gently, two days before

A soft scrub or a washcloth. Skip it the day of, because freshly scrubbed skin is more sensitive.

Come clean and dry

Shower beforehand and skip heavy lotions, oils or powders on the area. Wax grips hair, not product.

Wear something loose

Loose cotton is kindest on the way home. Tight denim right after a Brazilian is a choice you'll regret.

Aftercare

The next 48 hours.

Freshly waxed skin has open follicles. Give it a couple of days of easy treatment and it settles beautifully.

For 24-48 hours, skip

  • Hot baths & saunas
  • Swimming pools
  • Heavy workouts & sweat
  • Sun beds and direct sun
  • Tight, synthetic clothing

Do this instead

  • Loose cotton
  • Cool showers
  • A light, fragrance-free moisturizer
  • Clean hands off the area

From day three

Start exfoliating gently two or three times a week. It's the single best thing you can do to keep ingrowns away between appointments.

Booked a vajacial? That's exactly what it targets: build-up, blemishes and ingrown hairs.

General aftercare guidance for waxing, not medical advice. If your skin reacts badly or you have a condition that affects it, check with your doctor.

Before you book

Two things worth knowing.

A deposit holds your slot

Most services take a deposit, listed on each service in the menu. It comes off your total on the day, and a card on file is required to book.

The cancellation policy

A 50% cancellation will be charged to any clients who “no show”. If a client needs to reschedule within 24 hrs of their appointment, they have 1hr to respond with a new date & time. If not, cancellation fee will apply.
